Music to Train By

I need to add some music to my playlist for running. I like peppy, bouncy, happy, upbeat dance music. Here's my current list and I would welcome any and all suggestions:

Don't Stop Me Now; Queen
Single Ladies; Beyonce
Ray of Light; Madonna
Jai Ho; SLum Dog Millionaire Soundtrack
Perfect Day; Hoku
Another Dumb Blonde; Hoku

Please help! I know nothing about music these days except for kids' music (although Happy Noodle v. Sad Noodle is an epic!).

  1. I know nothing new, but Go-Go's Greatest was a fantastic workout soundtrack when I actually found time to exercise a few weeks ago. How about Cyndi Lauper's "She's So Unusual"? Or did you want something newer than 27 years old, lol? "Best of Blondie"?

  2. You can't go wrong with Lady Gaga. I also think that Head On by the Pixies is, hands down, the best song for running ever written. My list includes:
Short skirt Long Jacket - Cake
    La Vie Boheme - Rent
    Wannabe - Spice Girls
    Pop Song 89 - REM
    Come Anytime - Hoodoo Gurus
    Cannonball - the Breeders
    Ana Ng - TMBG
I am so with you on Single Ladies - but sometimes I have to stop running and dance a little.
I shudder to think about what this list reveals about my personal neuroses!
